Depends on where it starts....

Rack ? Floor ? Boosted ?

>Y'all are so non-mechanical.
>>
>>37831433
Floor? A 135 clean is a lot easier than an OHP. It doesn't really add anything.
>>
So is a 225 bench, and a 315 squat

If you can do them, youre still stronger than the vast majority of the population
>>
>>37831347
It's relative. It looks impressive in 3rd-person, which is why it gets so much fixation. When I started repping 135 OHP I got a surge of people asking me for tips on this and that exercise. No-one was impressed when I was pushing 130, but slap on those 45s and noobs think you're pushing squat weight.
>>

I've just been stalled loading and deloading between 115 and 125 for like a 3 weeks now. It's fucking ridiculous.
I don't know what the fuck I can do short of eating like 3500+ calories a day for a week and doing bench every session like a caricature of a bro. I don't even like bench. deads, squats, rows, OHP etc. everything else is pretty fun for me. I had more fun getting my wisdom teeth removed than I have when I'm doing bench press.

It's a part of 1/2/3/4, though.

How many normalfags do you know can lift 1 plate OHP? 2 plate bench? 3 plate squat? 4 plate DL?

Practically none m8. Most of the people who go to your gym excluding regulars prob. can't OHP 1 plate

Just be patient. OHP gains aren't as huge as squats or deadlifts.

Every single person in my gym that I know by name can OHP 1pl8, bench 2pl8 and at least deadlift 3pl8, if not squat.

Some can deadlift 4pl8 and those can also squat 4pl8.

Only the 1st year students can't actually bench over 2pl8.
Oh yearh and that one retarded keto guy, who had the bright idea to bulk up on a 3month test+metanabol cycle and then start cutting right after, with no maintnence. Nigga was swole-mole wide and now can hardly bench press his own manlet weight.
Still claims to be cutting, even if the only thing shrinking are his arms and back, while his gut stays the same.

1 lbs =! 2 kg

60kg = 135
100 kg = 215
140 kg = 305

60kg is actually 132lbs and so on (1kg = 2.2lb). Its just there's a slight difference in weight between metric plates - 20kg/44lb - and imperial - 20.4kg/45lb - that screws everything up.

Sure. It is easily attainable in the first year of training for an adult healthy male.

First year of training is easy (gains come quick).

Ergo, 1 plate OHP is easy.

IF you want to be stronger, that is. Some people just don't want to get stronger, which is fine.

Yes and no.

It's easy once you can do it. Right now I could get under a bar and rep out 1plate OHP with approximately the same ease that I could do a 2plate squat, ie very fucking easily.

However I remember when I couldn't lift this much and it didn't feel like a steep learning curve, it was a fucking asymptote. I hit 50kg and deloaded half a dozen times probably. I'm now hitting a similar plateau at the low 70s.

I'd never trained OHP and managed 5x5 at 60kg first time I gave it a go.

I'm now a 5'8'' 200lb hypermanlet and it took me 4 months of training 3x/fortnight to hit a strict 200lb OHP for a single.

It's simple, but not necessarily easy.

Fuck brehs I hit 1 absolutely shitty ROM rep at lmao1pl8 two weeks ago and I fought for the entire rep. Broke my collarbone as a kid though, never had an equal amount of push out of my left arm/shoulder so I gain strength slowly.

lmao1pl8 OHP is difficult as fuck for normies like me, but I can almost 5x5 110 while only being to hit 5x5 at 80 two or so months back. Shoulder isos helped my OHP grow a lot briddy quickly
>>
Yeah, I got it about 7 months in to lifting.

I think so too. Puts so much pressure on their elbows. I could probably widen my up some for a smother movement, but there was a guy that was approaching a 3pl8 squat but was struggling to 1RM 105lb OHP while I haven't even hit 2pl8 squats yet and was managing a 5x5 95lb OHP no problem.

All he needs to do is learn to lock his knees and squeeze his ass before he starts the lift. He started the lift and then told his body to get its shit together.

It's by far the hardest to achieve of the 1/2/3/4
>>
>>37847305
It is if you're a fat manlet. For skelly lanklets it's the easiest one.
