Hurt shoulder while benching.
Going to a doc tomorrow.
It has been a week, still hurts, can't exercise. What do besides seeing doctor?
Pic unrelated blet.

Stop falling for the bench meme and use dumb bells instead. Its time to learn proper form and build stabilizer muscles kiddo

I do both barbell and dumbbell, nigga. Didn't answer question about reducing pain. Next.

>Barbell puts stress on shoulder because of limited range of motion and locking joint into static position
Time to learn about anatomy kiddo

Ok, thanks. But what to do about present pain, and how to heal faster?
>>37794676
Chondroitin, glucosamine, fish oil, ice pack/heat blanket, ibuprofen, not using the shoulder at all
>>37794676
Get doc to give a script for pain meds
Take them
Stretch out lots and lots in the future

I am not in pain, just limited mobility. Only pains when lifting.

Just workout anyway and stop being a baby. It's supposed to hurt.
Where on your shoulder anon? Happened to me a couple weeks ago on my delts. Just relax, take your vitamins.

Sort off on top of it. I can hear it clicking sometimes when doing this motion http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/detail/view/name/smith-machine-upright-row

Hard to tell if the clicking is just a joint thing or a real problem. Mine didn't do that when I injured my shoulder, but the pain / range of motion returned after a day or so anyway.
Does it hurt when it clicks? I fucked up my knees for years playing sports as a teenager,so whenever I climb stairs, crouch down, or point my toes I hear clicking and crunching but it doesn't hurt (yet).
Still, you're on the right path by seeing a doctor, but for short term relief I'd say Ibuprofin or OTC muscle relaxers.

It does not hurt when clicking, but it didn't do that before the injury. Tried ibuprofen, but it didn't do nothing. I'm guessing the problem could be with joints or rotator cuff.
