how many times a week is ideal for squats?
i honestly think the higher the better, ive squatted 5x a week before and my hips felt great, and my legs were as strong as theyve ever been

I usually squat 2 or 3 times a week. If you're squatting 5 times a week, I gaurantee you're not squatting heavy.
