Ok. Your wording was just a bit dumb, When the growth plates of your shoulders fuse, they stop growing. Men can stop growing from 14 to 22 years old approx. It's true that most stop around 16 and it is also true that the clavivles are one of the last to stop growing, maybe before the skull.

Well, one thing holding me back from pinning it is because I'm afraid my shoulders will stop growing.
I'm quite tall, standing at 6'3 - I'm quite confident in my height. Of course I could do a little taller, but it's not on my priorities.
I also imagine roiding could make my shoulders wider (in the bone, not muscle).
