Is it socially acceptable for a guy to go to yoga classes?
I'd like to work some beginner work in for crosstraining, but I'm an absolute beginner. More importantly, I don't want to seem like a freak/pervert, even though I'm sure I'd have to steal some ass stares.
Yes it totally is, just don't ass state for to long. Honesty just treat yoga like it is your gym, your there to work out and better yourself.

If you're in a half-decent class, it will be challenging enough that you'll actually be forced to concentrate. You'll be too preoccupied with the workout to pop a chub.

I do yoga 4-5 times a week. About 25% of attendees are male. No it's not weird to see guys at yoga. I personally love it, especially the more intense power classes. I also find that it keeps me balanced emotionally. If you're doing yoga properly you won't pop a chub either.
