12 oz chicken
10 oz russet potato.
3 Eggs
1 cup egg whites.

There are no other options. None. If you want to be fit, it's chicken/rice/broccoli 'till you die.

They're just trolling. Chicken breast has lots of protein and is very lean. Broccoli has very low calorie density- which means it will make you feel full without making you fat. That's it.

There are tons of other foods that are protein dense: Pretty much every kind of fish or seafood, red meat, turkey, low fat yogurts and cheeses, peanuts, lentils, whole grain etc. etc.

If you don't like broccoli then lots of other vegs fulfill the same "fill you up, without making you fat" category.

Here, this can't hurt to have if you're just looking to start out.
>>

4 eggs, can of beans. 2500kj 40g protein.

I meal prep this every Sunday for my lunches to take to work
>Chicken breast
>Brocolli
>Sweet potato
>Red kidney beans
>Mushrooms

Then I add a different sauce to each meal so it's a little different. So easy. So cheap. Literally put 5 breasts in the oven for 35 minutes while the potato boils.
>>
>>37647794
>boiling potatoes
why not just bake them with a little salt and pepper?
>>
>>37647871
Could try that next time. I like them being soft it's easier to eat at work. How long do you bake them for?

Japanese sweet potato
A tofu recipe

Not that anon but I wrap them in foil and bake for 30-40 minutes at 350. Jab em with a toothpick for doneness.

good variety.

this is literally all you need. Get good at cooking and be creative so you don't burn out or burn your wallet at restaraunts, one way or another though the inner bitch will conquer you and you'll be back in line at the mcdonalds cause i tell you soemthing chums, picking up heavy shit and putting down is the fucking easy part, eating good food is a skill

Guys I bought this
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Great-Value-All-Natural-Boneless-Skinless-Chicken-Breasts-5-lbs/36179444

Thaw, rinse, add salt and pepper, and cook it. It's quite delicious, but is it healthy for my diet?

Thanks. I was worried about the "broth" and the sodium.
>>
>>37645493
Last year I would eat white rice mixed with caned chopped tomato's
>>
>>37648441
if you're under 40 you shouldn't care about sodium unless you really need to lose that water weight
>>
>>37645482
Protein staples: Chicken, Whey Powder, Canned Tuna, Beef Shoulder Petite Tender (I get it cheap as fuck in bulk and just freeze it)
Carb staples: Wholewheat Bread, Rice, Brown Rice, Pasta, Oat Bran, Canned Beans, Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes
Fat staples: Peanut Butter, Peanuts, Cashews, Milk, Almond Milk, Olive Oil, Sunflower Oil (for grilling)

I hate most vegetables. Only stuff I eat occasionally are Onions, Garlic, Broccoli, Carrots and Tomatoes.

fuck outta here jamal

This is the best advice in the thread. OP would be wise to note that the heavy fats stuff is more skewed toward trying to bulk- if you are cutting, it is probably best to cut back on such calorie dense foods.

Anyway, I have different meals almost every night of the week. If you are good at managing your macros and portion sizes you can do a lot better than chicken / rice / broccolli. Plus, being able to cook a good meal is just a good skill to have, good for impressing others, etc.

Generally I go heavy on the veggies and lighter on the meats than many would, and love to incorporate beans / peas / lentils into my diet as complementary protein sources. Just find a food blog or go to cookinglight.com or some shit, find a recipe that sounds interesting, and cook it.

Breakfast will usually be oatmeal, an omelette, or greek yogurt + granola + fruit. Lunch will usually be a tupperware of dinner leftovers + some fruit.
