If you have joint issues they can help with flexibility (but so can free yoga). They are also good for reducing lactic acid after a really big workout (but so is free foam rolling).
But they are pleasurable as fuck so if you can afford them or charge them to your benefits, go for it.

Those asian massage parlors give way better back massages than American massage therapists. They often climb up on your back and sit on your butt, so they can really give you a good massage. The happy ending is just a bonus to their already incredibly good massage. I have like 7 of them in my city, had to try them all before I found the massage therapist I really liked.
