I've seen this before. My friends and I tried to do something similar and it didn't work. Everyone agrees on things from about 1-6. Once you get to about 7, though, people start to disagree based on personal tastes. My buddy, for example, loves redheads and women with strong facial features, and I like brunettes and more subtle features. So girls he finds a 9, I find a 6-7, and the girls I think are 9's he thinks are 6's at best.
