Hey /fit/
I need examples of slim dudes who are pretty stronk
>>37536832
>sumo
>mixed grip
>strong
>>37536991
not OP but why do these two things lessen the 500+ pounds he is lifting?
>>37537015
he's memeing
>>37537015
because i'm going to specifically make things harder for myself for no reason in order to have an excuse as to why everybody is stronger than me

>>37537015
Not that guy, sumo = don't have to lift as far/smaller range of motion, so more weight can be moved.
Mixed grip = grip strength is too weak to actually hold the weight
>>37537015
It doesnt. It only makes the feat of strength slightly easier.
>>37536991
And yet he's twice as strong as you. How about that?
>>37537064
Most people are actually weaker sumo than conventional. Shorter ROM does not always mean easier.
>>37537064
>sumo means more weight can be moved
>most of the top deadlifting world records are done conventional
Stop now
>>37537056
Is this what you get if you only train strength and never waste reps on mass cultivation?
Holy shit man, mirin.
>>37538085
Dudes been lifting for like 14 years with almost sole focus on bench
In no way am I trying to discredit his fucking amazing feat; just trying to give the rationale. This is what pure strength training for over 10 years gets you
>>37538170
What program would get you sleeper gains like that though?
Low rep high weight obviously for each set, but minimize or maximize volume overall?
