deloading this week, 1rm day on saturday!

after this, i'm going to drop my weights by 20% and do another novice program.

Also, my lower back is really tight, all i did was sumo deadlift 110kg for two sets of 5 and i felt super tight. i think it's all the sitting now that work has cut me back to one shift a week, so i just sit at my pc.

It's hard to know where to begin.

You see where it sinks into your chest? Never do that again. Let it just touch your tee shirt. Second dont gyrate your hips when you press. Keep your whole body tight throughout the lift.

Start working on your arch. You are extremely flatbacked and limp.

Take your time between reps. Reset and breathe. Touch higher on the chest.

Most of all keep tight. I never want to see your body flailing around like that again.

That will probably work, but 2-3 maximal sets 1x/week is not enough practise imo. Unless you do volume pulls. I don't really know how to program those.

If you're having difficulty getting into the required positions for your lifts then some yoga poses/routine addressing those areas might help.

imo yoga for a powerlifter only helps in as much yoga helps them generally if that makes sense, i.e. do it for other reasons if you like, but I don't think you'll see much help towards your pl goals from it.
