It's bad because the weight isn't distributed evenly. You need to make sure that your hip torque is even on both sides and you keep your feet flat on the floor. You don't need to have a wide stance for that.

Honestly I cant complain. I pulled 2x295kg from my knees with it.

Its actually the most I've pulled with mixed grip in sheiko. I usually just go straight to straps on 290+ from knees pulls. I think pulling it with normal mixed grip would have been really tough too. Theres the factor of grip getting much weaker from fatigue, and the inhibitory response weakening the grip when the hands are beat up. And trust me, my hands are beat up. I even tore out two big callouses on my little finger the first rep, and still pulled the second one, after one failed attempt(mostly due to the blood fucking up the chalk, had to re-chalk quickly):

My hand is fine for benching and squatting. I even did 5x2x170kg bench with it without wrapping it last week.
Squats didnt hurt at all today.

But all this being said, I'm pretty sure im not gonna supinate my left hand for a while. Definitely not before or on the competition.

Ha, I love that kind of training, but I'm just doing some weekly undulating periodization now. Since I'm cutting weight, I'm just trying to limit strength loss. Working at very reduced maxes for now.

Still squatting 5+ per week, but with less intensity and volume.

If it is an inflated max, then yes, that sounds like a rough workout. That would be a 9-10 RPE. Real tough session, but do-able. You just might need longer recovery before the next big tough session.

I manage a lot of frequency because work off of training maxes (90 ish %), and I never really work beyond RPE 9 unless I'm going for a rep max or PR. I have a big work capacity from lots of cardio base and lifting volume.

Also, lifting is fun, so I do it every day (low-tech home gym master-race).

Commenting again, but that is a TOUGH session. I like this modified Prilepin's table. See where your protocol matches up. That is a really challenging workload. Not a bad workout, but one that requires a lot of recovery.

If I am sure I'm going to fail a set or rep do I lower the weight or rack it early? Or do you try anyway and if you fail you fail?
I'm not going to lie. I did fail the 8th rep on the last 2 sets of 8.

I didn't know whether to take 2.5kg off or just go for it. Still dont know what would have been the best outcome.

Yeah. Greg nuckols is insane and I am both scared and excited to see what he has done to my bench press performance.

I've been doing his 3 day deadlift which I think I'm going to run once and only once. First day is a set of 15, next day is a set of 10, next is a set of 5 all at varying percentages.

It's done my deadlift a world of favours but I can feel my body breaking down lol

it's supposedly one of the most accurate war movies ever made. you can look up interviews with vets and they talk about the landing scene like the only thing it was missing was the smell. and even according to people that were there, the whole movie is very true to what was was like.
