Food is food. What do you mean with "meme food"? It's good carbs and tastes great. Why do you /fit/ faggots get so hot and bothered over what is and isn't "meme food"?
>>
>>37528949
Healthy and tasty. What's supposed to be the meme here?
>>

>"are sweet potatoes a carb or vegetable
>explain I don't understand the questions
>they repeat
>tell them that it's a vegetable

No. No OP. They are God tier.
>>
sweet potatoes are sweet potatoes you know
>>
>>37529203
You acted autistic, so it only seems fair they think you are. What they obviously mean is that nutritionally and culinarily it fits more with grains and beans ("carbs") than with other vegetables like cabbage.

Food groups are somewhat vague, but they're not difficult.
>>
>>37529203
It's a root vegetable comprised of mostly starchy carbohydrates.

QUESTION!!!
>I weigh my Sweet Potato (SP)
>put in the microwave for a few mins to cook it
>weight SP again
>75% of original weight
Do I enter it in myfitnesspal (MFP) at original or cooked weight?
Also similar when you cook chicken it is much lighter??
>>
>>37529971
Original weight, because that is what nutritional values are measured with.

You cooked them and might have made it lose some water weight, but that doesn't reduce the amount of calories / w/e in it.
And these where measured with its original, uncoocked state.

10 times more anti-oxidants than regular taters.
Eat the skin also.
>>
>>37530553
Dietary antioxidents literally do nothing
>>
>>37530580
When supplemented. Antioxidants found in whole foods are beneficial.
>>
>>37530580
They do lot of things, for example they combat oxidative stress and free radicals.

>>37530599
Correct anti-oxidant pills doesn't work.
>>
>>37530599
>>37530652
You might want to look at some actual research lol
Your body has a set level for anti oxidents in the blood, eatting more just has the kidneys remove them. 90% of them are brokendown in the stomach acid and rendered unusable by the body anyway. Dietary antioxidents do nothing and are a meme for you simpletons to buy shit
>>
>>37530698
Can you provide some reputable sources for your claims?
>>
>>37530698
>look at some actual research
>proceeds to post nothing but broscience
>>

..I understand the word meme. I understand the word food. I don't understand the term "meme food". What does it mean exactly in this context?
