I was blessed with great genes, I just didn't capitalize on them when I was younger, nor did I realize how great my genes really were.

Haha, not a chance. My dad comes home, sits down, and spoons processed cheese into his mouth with tortilla chips, then grunts as he stands and goes to pour literally four cups of cereal (healthy 'cause it's corn flakes) into a measuring bowl and eats it with milk.
My mom and I keep trying to get him to eat less, at least, but he doesn't give a damn. I sent him a link to the sticky and he just groaned about how much he hates reading. Basically given up there.
My mother tries to stay in shape, she'll take some of my advice but falls for mimicking youtube videos with people windmilling 2lb dumbbells around in an attempt to tone their arms.

This right here. This is why I steer clear from people with mental disabilities. Happened to me one time, while waiting for the bus, a disabled guy comes along, starts saying weird shit about hot babes and how he'd like to touch the boobies n shit (there was a sunscreen ad across the street). So fucking offputting, it was like the comment section on porn sites, but in real life.
