Hey /fit/
In preparation for summer, I bought a pull-up bar for some good gains.
Was wondering how doing Pull ups has effected your muscle gains? What should I pair it with for even quicker gains?
Thanks /fit/

It gave me good back gains cause l've been doing them weighted like 4*/week (alternate overhand and underhand grip every workout)
Arms are still shit though

Have the same bar, they're good for certain ab workouts but mostly back
pair it with some food that just might work
or a weight vest

What do you mean by this?
What exercises should you also be doing?
What other equipment should you buy?
Perfect Multi-Gym Pro? I love mine.
Mostly use it for push ups and pull ups. I could barely do one last year, now I can do about 12. Not great, but improving, will kill your lats for a while if you haven't focused on them before. Make sure to use a wide grip.

pull ups and chin ups are awesome, i can attribute pretty much all of my forearm/bicep gains and most of my back gains to them.
i do unweighted pull ups every day (usually one or two sets of 10-15) and weighted pull ups twice a week

not really necessary, lat activation is pretty much the same throughout any grip pull up. personally i find wide grip works my forearms and close grip works my biceps though.

Tbqh those are excellent results if you're doing nothing but pullups
With other training, 20 pulls and 20 chins a day have shaped my back, helped my posture, juiced my lats and helped the definition of my bis and tris

Its a vertical pull so you pair it with a vertical push. Not rocket science.
Also pull ups are 100 times better then lat pull downs. So it will build muscle like all resistance training does.
You know nothing op..

rude t b h mate
but yeah op if you havent got any other equipment just pair it with push ups/dips/handstand push up

I was just copying the red woman.

lat pulldowns have their place, pull ups have their place, why not do both and have exceptional lats anon?

You can just weight the pull ups. There's no point in doing lat pull downs if you can pull up. Since pull ups give you more overall body control and activate the core.

you should try adding single arm dumbbell rows into your routine
