So I'm looking to add some swimming to my regular workout routine but I haven't swam in years and was looking to see if anyone knew any good routines for someone getting back into lap swimming.

When I need to raise my swim fitness
I start with sets of 50m (25m sprint, 25m easy)
gets you used to swimming hard, and recovering while swimming
then do a few 100's and build from there

Any good tips or resources for learning good swimming technique?
I didn't swim as a child and now I'm struggling to swim even 25m lengths of a pool. My cardio health is fine out of the pool so it isn't that I'm unhealthy.

Im thinking to go pool but my skin is a little bit sensitive and i have seboreit dermatit on my head. So pool water and its chemicals can cause any problem on my skin or im good to go?
