I eat 0% fat Greek Yogurt each day (see pic related): 23g protein, 9g sugar, 0g fat for 130 cals.

I know this is the optimal option as far as yogurt gets - the sugar is derived from the fermentation - but is it bad to be consuming that sugar each day? It's practically my only sugar source.

Is there a superior option?
Is it worth being autistic?
Should I just keep eating this?
>>
You need some sugars. The only sugar you should be avoiding is shit they add like hfcs and shit.
>>
>9g of sugar
>bad
lmao
I eat like 30-45 a day, I'm fit as a fiddle

Keep doing what you're doing.

IIRC lactose is converted into galactose which is then converted into glucose. It's even less sugar than you think it is, as a little bit of energy is lost during each conversion.

Plus your gut flora gains will be off the chain - which only reinforces your ability to digest dairy.

a little bit of sugar is fine, especially milk sugar
>>
what yogurt is this?
>>

You are allowed 25-60 grams of "free sugars"

Sugar encased in fiber (such as fruit or veggies) and dairy lactose doesnt count as "free sugars" and you can have as much as fits your carbohydrate goals
>>
I just spent 20 minutes at the store last night staring at the back of yogurt labels trying to find what one was "best"

Settled for the 2% Fage yogurt. (The Chobanni yogurt was my 2nd choice)

Fage Total 0% Greek Strained Yogurt

another major brand with similar macros is Chobani 0% Strained

any 0% fat greek yogurt should be about the same
>>
yeah greek yogurt is the shit when cutting. I usually cum in mine and mix it with protein powder. Easy way to get 60+ grams of protein.

2% fat Fage is great too.

I use 0% so I don't go overboard on the saturated fat. If yogurt fits in your macros as a saturated fat source then you can go with any type of yogurt

I believe Fage has a better taste than chobani, and has slightly more protein but I may be wrong.

I'm too much of a /fit/ noob to understand what macros are. The only macros I know about are from my WoW days.
>>
>>37450367
Yeah, if I recall correctly Fage has a slight/negligible (like 1g) > amount of protein.

Agree that Fage seems like an overall better tasting/quality product, though both are great.

You don't eat fruit?
>>
I eat the wallaby stuff from whole foods, same protein but less sugar, although I'd say the fage stuff tastes better.
I also eat around 350g of Greek yogurt every morning, mixed with oats, nuts, granola, flax seeds and protein powder, is there anything wrong with eating that much Greek yogurt?
