Hi guys I've got a job recently and now I'm balancing lifting and work, the thing is the work shoes I have have no support and I feel flat footed and it hurts. What do you guys wear at work? I need the shoes to be pure black and look decent. I think I'm just gonna pick up some nikes. Any help fit? Limit is 120$usd
>>
Plz respond

Nikes are absolute horse shit tier. Try Brooks Addiction walkers, they're popular work shoes, all black, I think either 120 or 130
>>
>>37426633
But do they look decent

I work in landscaping and im on my feet for 10-14 hours a day, 4-5 days a week. Its fucking brutal and I have flat feet which doesnt help at all but i found these insoles at marks work warehouse which give really strong arch support and make work days much easier.

sounds like you havent worked much in your life and landed a shittier position in the service industry, so my advice would be to develop some fortitude and it will get easier.

Any kind of New Balance shoes. Try them out in store.

lightweight as fugg-- i got a pair and wear them all day, everyday. kinda /fa/ but not bad when you put them on and realize it is like not wearing shoes at all (i'm not kidding, they are stupid light)

i'm a gril though, so maybe you might think they're too grilly lookin'
>>
I don't have flat feet but my feet can get sore if I wear flat shoes and go running or stand for hours. Get some proper orthotics from a specialist then you can wear whatever you want a dog it'll feel like your feet are walking on clouds

This. I got a shitty factory job a few months back and when I first started my feet were fucking killing me from not being used to standing for 8 hrs at a time. You'll get used to it over time and the pain won't be as bad.
>>
>>37426190
I feel you, OP. I stand on concrete all day and my back, knees and feet hurt like shit after a long day. I wear Nike Blazers with some insoles, but they don't help that much.
>>
>>37426801
I've had this positions for almost a year but now we can't wear Jordans lol. They must be pure black and I have shirt 20$ Walmart shoes

Im on my feet all day in some red wing steel toes working construction with no feet complaints at the end of the day. The secret to staying on your feet? Insoles. Go to marks warehouse and grab a pair for around 50 bucks, then wear whatever black shoes to your liking. Those insoles should last you 3+years since they only last me 1 because I do labour intensive shit
Or
If you have black shoes, go to a foot doctor and get insoles tailor-made for you. Should run at your budget for around 100

your story seems shady anon..

UK here. If anyone else is in the UK, get Clark's 'Unstructured shoes'. I'm a nurse with flat feet, and I'm on my feet for 12hours+ on a regular basis. They are smart. The womans version look like shit, but I see so many nurses wearing them despite this.

Here you go. Pay the extra £40 faggot. Mine have lasted 3 years. http://www.clarksusa.com/us/c/mens-unstructured

“The reason that the rich were so rich, Vimes reasoned, was because they managed to spend less money.

Take boots, for example. He earned thirty-eight dollars a month plus allowances. A really good pair of leather boots cost fifty dollars. But an affordable pair of boots, which were sort of OK for a season or two and then leaked like hell when the cardboard gave out, cost about ten dollars. Those were the kind of boots Vimes always bought, and wore until the soles were so thin that he could tell where he was in Ankh-Morpork on a foggy night by the feel of the cobbles.

But the thing was that good boots lasted for years and years. A man who could afford fifty dollars had a pair of boots that'd still be keeping his feet dry in ten years' time, while the poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet.

This was the Captain Samuel Vimes 'Boots' theory of socioeconomic unfairness.”

Welcome to the service industry faggot. Try pulling 14 hour shifts in a hot kitchen.
On a kinder note: dr schoals is where it's at senpai
>>
I feel lucky to have flexible flat feet. At least I can develop them so I don't need to buy insoles.
>>
>>37426190
you gonna do actual work or just running around collecting shit a la Amazon?
If 2nd, just get any light, cushioning running shoes appropriate for the temperature of the place. Preferably they should let plenty of air to your feet.

in the other case you might wanna look at your workplace regulations first, if you need steel caps etc.
>>
I usually buy 50 - 80$ shoes with a strong arch and put in one of those Dr. Scholls heavy-duty inserts if I want all day comfort.

I work as a stocker and I'm on my feet all the time. Pic related is what I wear and they're great. Light and comfortable. The only downside is that they lack protection. So don't drop anything on your feet and you'll be fine.
>>
>>37430861
Can confirm, broke toe in one but other than that great shoe.
>>
>>37426190
I've worked 8 hours a day on my feet for four years, and still go for walks and stuff afterwords with no problems.

Reebok dmx max walking shoes. I used to wear classic club c's, which are still pretty decent, but these ones relieve a lot of stress on my knees.
>>
>>37430948
Also forgot to mention that I'm flat footed and piegeon toed. Just put some arch supports inside you can buy over the counter literally anywhere.
>>
>>37430948
They have the shapes of NB shoes aka pedophile shoes. Not OP btw.
>>
>>37431004
They're not the most asthetic, but they get the job done amazingly well.
