When you first start lifting your whole body gets DOMs because its not used to it. Same way your legs arent used to being trained. 1× a week is pathetic frequency if you want nice legs.
Sure if you're some curl bro who does legs so no one tells you "lol dont skip leg day bro" it will work but thats really the only benefit to it.
