What's your grip strength /fit/?
46kg right, 41 left here. Probably babby weight but I have no point of comparison.
I'm a weak piece of shit compared to /fit/ standards, I lift 100 kg before I have to use straps.

blululu aha ah

But that is gourmet food for an american
>>37416053
That is, I can't lift over 100 kg without straps but I can't lift more than 100 kg WITH straps. Is this ok deadlift/grip strength proportions?
>>37416557
You cant deadlift more than 100kg without straps? That is terrible grip strength. You should put some serious work into your grip strength.
I can deadlift 160kg just fine with double overhand. I'm sure I could do a little more, but I switch to hook grip for my work set weight.

All I'm saying is why does it matter that I can't lift more than 100 kg without straps if my 5RM DL is 100 kg?
>>37416591
A better question is why are you speging about deadlifts when OP is clearly asking about dynamometer results?
>>37416585
how do I into hook grip?
>>37416597
I had no idea. Pic related is me
I feel hard to progress on DL due to my grip strenght.
I need to use mix grip >100kg
I started doind some exercses between sets, trying to increase the grip strength.
Farmer Walks / Holding the bar on the top of a DL as much as.
Any other kind of exercics to increase grip strng?

DLed 485 and rackpulled 575 with double overhand
Can also closc #2 coc
>>37416681
Can just about close the #2 gripper. Dunno exactly what it translates to on a dynamometer but that's supposed to be 195lbs to close it.
My grip strength kind of sucks for deadlifting though. Just managed a 300lb overhand axle and a 200-ish overhand continental.

Does hook grip fuck your thumb? Never tried and scared with heavier weight
>>37416941
It won't fuck your thumb.
The best way to go about it is to practice hook grip on warmup sets to make your thumbs used to the feeling.
>>37416941
It can, but you'd need to be moving some serious weight on a regular basis for it to even have a chance of happening.
