Far too many on this board don't realize that their personal care products, detergents, and food are infused with testosterone depleting chemicals. Testosterone levels in men have declined by 50% since the 1940s due to the use of artifical chemicals. I used to think organic products were a scam for sissy Californians. Now I realize that either on purpose or by mistake global capitalism has caused a DRASTIC decrease in virility. It's definitely too late to save the world but it's not too late to save yourself.

IMMEDIATELY stop using any non-organic versions of the following products:
Toothpaste
Shampoo/Conditioner
Lotion, face wash, etc.
Soap/body wash
Unfiltered water
Bottled drinks
Avoid canned foods when possible
Carefully wash all fruits and vegetables before consumption with hot water
Cows and chickens are fed pesticide and hormone infused grain which they then pass along to you in their milk and eggs--get organic versions of these essential products
Laundry detergent
Dishsoap
Anti-perspirant and deodorant

GENERAL RULE:
If it bubbles or smells good, it's probably loaded with testosterone blocking junk.

There are paraben free alternatives to all of these products--you have only yourself to blame!

NONE OF US ARE IMMUNE--you can become a numale easily or pass these traits on to your sons if you aren't careful.

The world is now designed to advance and promote femininity everywhere. Be vigilant and good luck.

Jokes on you, i am a filthy hippe who never showers.

Mirin my natty test levels?

No but seriously, if you are so goddamn low test that brushing your teeth or washing with soap kills your gains, just hop on that there TRT

This lmao. Do you think the average CHAD is worrying about estrogen in his shampoo?

Also, parabens have been shown in studies to be essentially harmless:

Animal experiments have shown that parabens have weak estrogenic activity, acting as xenoestrogens. In an in vivo study, the effect of butylparaben was determined to be approximately 100,000 times weaker than that of estradiol, and was only observed at a dose level approximately 25,000 times higher than the level typically used to preserve products. The study also found that the in vivo estrogenic activity of parabens is reduced by about three orders of magnitude compared to in vitro activity.

Also, Okinawan men eat a diet high in soy (a phytoestrog container), yet have much better testosterone levels than americans: http://www.okicent.org/study.html

Do you wanna know what else Okinawan men eat? A diet very high in vegetables and fibre, and live an active life.

Also, the "50%" drop study, was based on 2000 bostonians between 1987 and 2003, not between 1940 and 2000 (and the last test group they used only had about 450 men).

So why did the test levels drop then you enormous faggot shill? The study said the drop couldn't be accounted for by increased BMI, reduced exercise, and reduced smoking (smoking increases test)

So what's the reason for the drop? Japanese probably don't have their bodies loaded with toxic shit by American companies

Literally making excuses for poisoning your body

Who knows.

The head of the study said any claim would be "pure conjecture".

My bet would be on the awful american diet, food choices make a big impact on the diet.

The Okinawans eat a very large amount of vegetables, and we all know the importance of them in regards to bodily health.

Sure, chemical shit is bad, but Parabens (in the miniscule amounts contained within shampoo/etc) do barely a negative thing; Phytoestrogens seem to be harmless also, especially as the Okinawans consume so many yet have such healthy test levels.

So investigating topics further, showing that low test may be caused by poor diet, and not blindly believing a shitpost on /fit/ is making excuses?

How are we supposed to have a discussion and make progression if we don't hold things to account and debate? Should we just agree on everything and fling shit at all who make objections?

>We should just trust corporations and their FDA lackies when they say parabens are safe in small quantities, after all we could also trust tobacco companies when they said carcinogens were safe in small quantities and oil companies when they said pollution was safe in small quantities

Cuck
>>
>people trying to defend cancer estrogen causing chemicals

Oyyyyy veyy they got you good

The study was by a British University.

Are you going to post any valid objections or just shitpost and insult?

>cancer causing

There is no evidence that application of consumer products containing parabens cause cancer. Investigations by the American Cancer Society and FDA found that current levels of parabens in consumer products were not dangerous. A 2005 review concluded "it is biologically implausible that parabens could increase the risk of any estrogen-mediated endpoint, including effects on the male reproductive tract or breast cancer" and that "worst-case daily exposure to parabens would present substantially less risk relative to exposure to naturally occurring endocrine active chemicals in the diet such as the phytoestrogen daidzein.

Okinawans don't eat the same things Americans do or use the same consumer products. Their food has less pesticides. Their government probably isn't in the midst of a coordinated effort to annihilate manhood and turn everyone into androgynous blobs.

Furthermore American diet hasn't significantly changed since 1987. It was just as sugar ridden then as it is now. Diet alone doesn't explain the shift, chemical poisoning does.

Good point. A pity there wasn't a lot of information on the men's lifestyle.

Just found another interesting one:

www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/06/120623144944

A new study finds that a drop in testosterone levels over time is more likely to result from a man's behavioral and health changes than by aging.

"Testosterone changes are largely explained by smoking behavior and changes in health status, particularly obesity and depression."

Many older men have low levels of the sex hormone testosterone, but the cause is not known. Few population-based studies have tracked changes in testosterone levels among the same men over time, as their study did, Wittert said.

In this study, supported by the National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia, the authors analyzed testosterone measurements in more than 1,500 men who had measurements taken at two clinic visits five years apart.

On average, testosterone levels did not decline significantly over five years; rather, they decreased less than 1 percent each year, the authors reported. However, when the investigators analyzed the data by subgroups, they found that certain factors were linked to lower testosterone levels at five years than at the beginning of the study.

"Men who had declines in testosterone were more likely to be those who became obese, had stopped smoking or were depressed at either clinic visit," Wittert said. "While stopping smoking may be a cause of a slight decrease in testosterone, the benefit of quitting smoking is huge."

Past research has linked depression and low testosterone.

Unmarried men in the study had greater testosterone reductions than did married men. Wittert attributed this finding to past research showing that married men tend to be healthier and happier than unmarried men. "Also, regular sexual activity tends to increase testosterone," he explained.

Definitely interesting, I think a range of issues are responsible. Not just diet/chemicals.
