Bring it to your shins, all the way so it rubs against them. Avoid straightening your legs then romanian deadlifting it, too. Pull your shoulders back and up so your upper body is completely tight and then stand up by forcing through your heels. It takes a few tries to get the coordination down, don't feel bad.
