My ribcage is huge, my shoulders and chest where both broad before I started lifting and I've never had problem bulking. BUT I therefore have top big a frame for the lean athlete look.

i dont feel like posting anymore but you should consider yourself very fortunate to have a large ribcage, literally every star athlete on the planet has a large ribcage as its correlated with an increase in lung capacity and athletic performance, and as such a large ribcage is a positively selected for human characteristic.

having a big ribcage kind of sucks man, i have a huge ribcage and i have to wear dress shirts a size up because i can't button past my ribs, having to tailor your shirts to have them fit feels bad man, it doubly sucks because i'm fucking tall , so 'tall' shirts are just 'fat fuck' shirts, so they are really wide and not really cut for tall frames
