I'm on gear now, but you apparently can do fine with borderline low test. I suspect it has more to do with whether or not you're a "good responder", than with your total test.

I've spent quite few hours looking up academic articles where they published subjects' natural test levels and from what I learned most men below 50 are between 350-550. High 500s and 600s is top tier test.
