The alcohol in it may cause your mouth to go dry and swallowing it isnt the best for your stomach.

No, flossing isn't to "remove" food or bad bacteria per se. Yes, it will remove food particles, but the main benefit is that the rubbing action, alone destroys the bacteria buildup.... like rubbing your hand over moss on a tree trunk - it retards the progression of the moss/ bacteria.
If you mouthwash before you brush, there could still be a film of bacteria on your teeth surfaces.
When you brush first, you remove the bacterial film and the mouthwash kills the small bits that are left.

The future is bright overall, depending on how you look at it. I'm really interested in modern dental technologies (CAD/CAM scanning/printing, 3D scanning, treatment planning etc.).
Since i'm from Yurup, i can't say anything about the U.S.
I myself am interested in implants, prosthethics and implant-based prosthethics. As far as i know you don't really need to specialize if you know your shit. For implants you just take a 3 month course and you can start popping them in.

It's a sharp hook which is used to examine the surface of the tooth.
If we see a black spot, we suspect it can be a cavity - we take the sharp hook and probe the hole. If the hook falls into it then that's pretty much that.
You can also use it to scratch the surface of the tooth. Normally the surface should be smooth, like glass. If for some reason the surface is rougher, cavities may start to form.

Leave the mouth wash until later, the mouthwash could wash off the toothpaste that is supposed to be left behind on teeth after brushing.
My split is floss and brush when I first get up, shower and all that so by the time I am eating the toothpaste taste is gone from my mouth, then mouthwash before I head out the door.
Tho if you want to brush after breakfast and not hang around I guess you could mothwash in the afternoon. But don't do it right after brushing. Give it half an hour at least.

It really depends on the country, if its a private clinic or not, your experience and the type of work you do.
In the U.K you can earn up to 11000USD monthly as a fairly young dentist if you work a lot and hard.

That's actually pretty good. Similar starting as folks here and I assume much less debt. Our ceilings are definitely much higher but European dentistry sounds like a pretty good gig as well.

Currently in dentistry we try to take the conservative approach. If the root is healthy, is it better to keep it and make a crown, since implants also may have complications (bone resorption for example).
We try to use a more conservative method every time, but if the patient wishes to have an implant done we won't stop them.
