The thing is, I understand the plight of many fatties. They were taught poor dieting habits by their shitty parents, and now they have those poor habits coded into their brains. It can be tough to break an addiction to the ridiculous shit we have on our grocery stores. I don't know when it became a contest to produce the most disgusting decadent snacks possible, but we have shit like bacon Oreos.
I think a lot of fatties learned their bad habits early on. I think parents are responsible for the habits their kids learned. I also think that we as a society need to take a hard look at the shit we're allowing on our shelves, or at least make basic dieting information more readily. We need better education about these things. That's why the fat acceptance movement garners so much hate; it spreads misinformation, it reinforces bad habits, and it coddles delusion

/fit/ I really would like your help. I used to have a good shape and be active and stuff, but the last two and a half years were super rough on me and I let myself slip. I'm now slightly overweight, and I hate myself. I've read the fucking wiki and I have no problems sticking to something once I've started, just would like some help in regards to my workout. Diet isn't too hard, I don't actually eat that bad at the moment I just don't get out that much.
