I'm 6 ft, 158 lbs, around 15%.
I'm lifting on and off since December 2015. I started of as a skelly at 127 lbs at the same height.
My journey:
First few months: did just machines, felt good because I was working out but no gains were made.
After that: stronglifts, strength gains, body weight gains, didn't like the results (I basically only built legs, upper body was the same).
So in the summer 2015 I started doing my own PPL routine and I gained a few pounds, although routine was probably shit.
Then in the autumn 2015 I started doing stronglifts again and the lifts went up even more, but I still didn't like the results (no arms, no good back, no chest, only delts are okay, and legs of course).
Now I started doing some routine that I bought from a natty youtuber and it's basically training 2 times a week, one day is stength day, the other is high volume, and other 2 days are accessory work (neck, forearms, calves).
I think I'm fucked up in the head, I can't stay consistent on one routine. The problem with strength routine is that I like doing them (5x5 stronglifts), but it fucks with my head too much. I'm not seeing the results I want, although I get satisfaction with strength gains - but that's not my goal. Also, I got injured doing squats (form matters, but you can't keep perfect form when lifting heavy - yes 2pl8 squats are heavy for me)
I want to look big in clothes and good without them.
When I start doing splits (PPL, U/L, whatever...) I feel like I'm actually getting smaller. I know I'm probably delusional, but that's how I feel. I can't see any progress with splits (maybe haven't been doing them for long enough to see body progress & I certainly don't see strength progress on them).
My lifts when I was on the peak of SL5x5
Squat - just below 2pl8s
Bench - barely 1pl8 (by far my weakest lift)
Deadlift - 290 lbs
OHP - 92 lbs
Now, give me some advice what the fuck do I do? I know I need to stick one routine, but it fucks with my head which one.
