These threads inspired me to stay the course and keep losing weight. I'm a disgusting slob but I've lost 75lbs since October. Just started going to the gym and my weight loss has stalled for 3 weeks now despite not eating any more and on some days eating less than I did without exercise. As it is, it all needs to come from you, dude. Outside motivation to get you going is alright to begin with, but if you've already started, and it sounds like you've got a goal in mind, you need to get to it yourself.
It's not easy. The best things in life never are. Doesn't matter. Do it anyway. Get up early. Go to gym. Spend the ten minutes making a good meal rather than ordering take-out. You need to look at yourself in the mirror and dislike what you see. Hate what you see, if it helps - I know it helped me. Look at yourself and pick out every little flaw and imperfection, and know, with absolute certainty, that you're going to get rid of them.
People on here like to say 'You'll make it if you do X' or 'If you do Y, you'll never make it'. With all due respect to those people, who are way more fit than I am, fuck that noise. Anyone can make it.
The ONLY thing that will decide as to whether you make it or not is how much you're willing to put in and put up with.
Personally, I don't give a fuck what you do. Sleep in. Eat shit. Stay fat. What the fuck ever, no skin off my nose.

I'm by no means thin myself at 92 fucking kilograms, but I've dropped from 105 and I'm still going, along with bf% now at 18 down from 28. I was never a hambeast, but holy shit, I see all the people being happy with themselves at like 250+kg, and I have to ask myself HOW. Like, walking from the bedroom to the toilet at 5am is hard enough when you're fit and sleepy and bumping into walls, let alone when you have to lug that much fat with you.
On a related topic, I would totally watch a TV show about a fatty hambeast who is paired up with a personal trainer - or just a fit person - and they cede everything to their trainer - diet, exercise, sleep and awake times, grocery shopping, everything. Just watching them be forced to make good choices would be great.
Like yeah, they'd spring back to being a fatty as soon as the show finished, but you know. Some of them might enjoy being able to walk without shaking the earth.

We all have choices. You take life as it comes to you. Fatties choose to continue their addiction by rationalizing it. They are the makers of their own fate. My MS woll eventually cripple me, but I'm glad it's not now due to my choice to accept healthy behaviors.
This is the reason why fatties and addicts piss me off so much. Their addiction make it harder for people like me to get attention because doctors think we're med seeking or we have something erong mentally. It took me going to many dpecialists until one finally did a CT and found all my lesions. The doctor verbally reamed my regular doc and told him that he'd start being my primary care doc instead of him. My regular doc catered to fatties and addicts, but never to people who truly was sick. I'm glad he got his med license suspended and is now having to take a bunch of classes before his med license is reinstated.

I was super poor as a child and both my parents were physically abusive drug addicts. We ate the shittiest of shitty food and cheap calorie laden snacks. I was 104lbs in 3rd grade. By the time I graduated high school I was probably 300lbs and eating was pretty much the only thing that temporarily made me forget about my shitty home life. Moved out, had a terrible concept on how to eat and portion control, wrestled with terrible, mind numbing depression for 10 more years until something broke in me and I decided I needed to stop being a bitch and lose the weight. I got fat because of growing up in a shitty environment and poor coping mechanisms which led me to gluttony. In the past few years I've improved ten fold but if I'm stressed out I still want to gorge myself. I usually find other ways to deal with it now though.

Like if they're at the grocery store, the trainer lets the fatty pick the food out, but can just fucking veto shit and order them to put it back.
