I will be staying in Cannes, France for a month and wanted to ask any French /fit/izens what would be the best gym to subscribe to during my trip.
I'm looking for a gym that has both free weights and machines, some cardio equipment would be nice as well.

You can't have both in densely populated areas here, "fitness culture" is almost nonexistent in France.
I'm sure you'll manage to find something in Cannes but it certainly won't be decently equiped AND cheap.

OP: do push ups, pull ups off a door and go sightseeing for a month. Unless it's a gym within your hotel you're wasting your time while oerseas.

you'd better look for a powerlifting club if you want a barbell gym in France.
It's called "force athlétique" in France, and you would have two clubs nearby (one in Nizza, one in Fréjus).

I also thought about doing only bodyweight, but I am yet to discover an effective way of training legs without doing proper squats.
