Feels good brehs
>>
workout b4 work or go to the gym during break.
>>
Because it's fun. Usually get up 7 am go to the gym 6pm after work.
>>
>>36824603
It's this amazing new drug called caffeine but be careful it's not for the faint of heart
>>
Just go to the gym a couple of times after shift and go from there

By only working out 3 times a week for 75mins

Lol I work 4pm-730pm Mon-Thurs and make enough to live comfortably.
>>
YOull have enough energy if you become a vegan
>>
>>36824651
I already take caffeine during the day, it's not so useful now anymore
>>
>>36824603
After a few reps it all gets better, just don't be a fag and go to the gym anyway.
>>
>>36824603
Before I got laid off I would get up, take my ECA stack, go to the pool for 6:30am, swim for an hour, get ready, drink my breakfast smoothie, drive to work, work my eight hour day, partially office work partially land evaluation (including hiking etc over wilderness land), then do weights after work, then usually home, meal five, walk the dog, read for a half hour or forty give minutes, glass of milk, and bed. Not a very glamorous or fun life, but I'm pretty big and ripped.

Home gym helps a lot. Travel time would make me kill myself.

I work ~10 hours and workout for like 30 min after resting for an hour or two.
>>
>>36824603
Haha 8-9 hours? I work 12's and go to the gym after. You don't have to find the energy, it's there. You just have to go use it
>>
I get up at 5 am, my shift starts at 6. I work at a smithy/forging plant so I'm pretty exhausted when I come home, but I know that if I drag my lazy ass to the gym I'll get my energy to workout.
>>
I just do it . Sometimes a nap beforehand helps.

9 hours is a short day for me.

work 14 hours and go to the gym because i love lifting. you're either about it or you're not.
>>
I used to be 2nd shift manual labor, here is what I did

>wake up around 9
>workout, then eat, shit, shower
>sit around for a few more hours, go to shit job
>work 8+ hours
>grab burger king on way home once a week, or eat home cooked food
>drink vodka/fap
>>
Don't work these days. At uni now instead. Worked construction before and work in offices during the summers now.

I lift from 06.30-07-30 and then study from 09-21. When I worked I lifted from 05-06. I can't be arsed to do anything when I get home, so I have to lift in the morning.
>>
Simple, I don't masturbate
>>
>>36824640
I do this too, riding those post-workout endorphins while at work is fantastic and I'm so exhausted by the time I get off I sleep like a rock
>>
Coffee.
>>
Catch train at 7:35am
gym is 5 mins walk from station
showering and getting dressed is 20 mins
gym opens at 6:00

hour and ten mins roughly is enough, I had to stop fucking around between every deadlift set though cause I kept running out of time
>>
>>36824603
I work 12 hours on a production line and go to the gym afterwards. There's always time to workout.
>>
You don't have to work every single day. Get a part time job (3 or 4 days) and spend your time on your passion instead. Living isn't so expensive that you have to work 40 hours anymore.
>>
>>36825685
>work 14 hours
Sounds like a chain of terrible career choices. How can you be cucked into working that much? Have you no life?

Lucky

I work in Support for a HUGE tech company and i dream of a gym on-site
>>
>>36826605
The office building where the company rents its offices has the gym, the company itself isn't that massive or rich. There's an insurance company and an accounting firm and a small law office in the same building, but they almost literally never use the gym.
>>
>>36825685
Is that something you're proud of? Unless you have your own company and work for yourself you're getting fucked in the ass, and the worst part is that you seem thankful for it.
If you work 14 and sleep 8 hours that leaves 2 hours for commutes/food/whatever else.
What kind of life is that?
"i wish i worked more while young instead of enjoying life and girls in their prime" said no old people ever.
>>
>>36824752
This desu family

The real struggle is getting to the front door, you'd be surprised what you can do even at your most tired

Strategic caffeine intake, plenty hydrated throughout the day and a good meal 3 hours before lifting makes all the difference

>>
>>36824603
I go before work and then just half ass my entire day. It's amazing how much time you can waste in an office job and still get praised.
>>
>>36824603
you dont find the energy....you have no energy. you do it anyway..
>>
>>36824603
It's simple, you lift BEFORE work. I am a carpenter/skilled laborer and do this without a problem.

Less people at the gym and it gives you energy for the day.
>>
>>36824941
Walking the dog is free time. Which part of haing a dog is compulsory?
>>
Get up early and workout before work.
>>
>Up at 4:50 am
>Work 6 - 4:25 pm
>Gym 5 - 6:15
>Bed by midnight

4 days a week. Sleep in for an hour on the weekends. Honestly have too much energy to not go to the gym. I don't do anything special, just hyper.
>>
I work a nice job that doesn't physically drain me
>>
>>36824603
By just doing it. Caffeine helps a lot. Also, going before work feels so much better.

>>
>>36828081
Don't get sick but I appreciate your concern.
>>
>>36824760
fukking this, is what it turns into. Then you (I) get hammered drunk on a Friday and feel like an ass but there's no other way to pound puss. Then get a gf and there's no time for lifting like when single. the muscle starts falling off and the chick loses respect of her once trophy man.
>>
>Work 14-16 hours a day for 4 straight days
>~35-50min of travel each direction
>still wake up early to lift Saturday and Monday

Determination, not be a little bitch, knowing that the only thing that can stop me from being better is my own laziness
>>
>>36828101
My gf is well aware that the gym comes before her and respects it. How much time do you need to spend in the gym that you can't maintain a relationship? Maybe the girls you all deal with are just needy

do people really get cucked this hard by their jobs and feel proud of it?
>>
>>36828142
getting enough sleep is not laziness, it's respecting your body
>>
>>36828159
Not proud at all. I desperately want a different job but I've got bills to pay and I play with the hand I was dealt. Studying in the meantime but I'm only human. Don't hate so hard, we all have different situations.
>>
>>36828169
I'm not even hating, but 12-14h shifts sound really bad and I wonder how deep in shit you have to be to accept those hours.
>>
>>36828180
It is, but some people really are deep in shit and trying to claw out. Gotta do what you can to survive sometimes man.
>>
>>36828142
>I work 14-16 hours a day
Then how are you able to spend so much time posting about it on the 4chan m8?
>>
>>36824603
> work from 8.30 to 5
> got some bootcamp thingo from 5.30 to 6.30
> come home, veg out on the couch, have dinner
> go to 24 hour gym at like 9 or 10
> work out for like an hour or so
> come home

Not a problem. At this point I probably should go to bed, but I usually stay up until like 1 or 2am
>>
At first because the results were so good I was really motivated. Now, after losing 10kg in two weeks it looks like I'm stuck and losing my moivation...
>>
>>36824679
That's my dream, I'm at university at the moment but I once worked full time, and it was absolute torture. Literally a life not worth living.
>>
>>36825773
Yep.

But it has a side effect, I didn't masturbate for two weeks and suddenly I woke up at 3am covered in cum. First time ever, and I'm 30 yo
>>
I work 7,5 hr days wit about 1h15 total commute. I lift about10times a month which is good enough to maintain my medium tier gains.
I'm happy with where I am since I lift for my health, not to leave humanity behind. Also being a bank lobbyist I would have to buy clown-tier looking suits if I got much bigger.

The prospect of spending a chunk of your evening in the gym isnt always motivating, but once I'm there I always enjoy myself and afterwards you feel much more satisfied with your day than if you had crashed on the couch and watched tv.
>>
>>36825193
>>36826685

Gonna second both of these bros. Go before work, ya dangus. Less people, less bullshit, and you feel great for the rest of your day.
>>
>>36828243
Not either of them, but I'm not a morning person, and my sleep cycle is proper fucked. I have enough trouble getting up at 8 for a brief shower and chow before an 8.30 start (I live literally two minutes drive from work). I tried doing morning sessions a couple of times and I just felt so weak and lethargic, even during/after the warm up.

More power to the people who ARE the morning type, though. I have no fucking clue how they do it.
>>
>>36828189
I respect your attitude m8. Thought you (and others) were bragging about it.
>>
>>36824941
Well I had long gym sessions after work, I sat down for meal five with my family, and that time includes preparing and cleaning up, and I'd take my dog for a long walk. I live with my family because I live in rural Canada.
Now that I'm laid off I ease up on the pool, because I spend my days mostly looking after our property (5 acres rural, mend the horse fences, clean the stables, etc, plenty of passive cardio). My commute was a bit long when I was working. I slept a solid nine hours though. I still get about that but my days are less rushed now. I've got a year of EI ahead of me as well, so I'm still making some money while I look for work. I'm going to ease up on my fitness once June hits though, I'm pretty close to natty potential.

Oh and the other thing about making it work while you have a regular job is this; I took a day off lifting every week, usually Tuesday, to do something social or fun, and then just lifted one weekend day to make up for it. Consistency and habit makes a natty lifter grow, anything less is going to slow you down immensely. I find the same for anything though, for school or music, consistency was more important than talent. Studying every day, practising almost every day, that's where the real skills come from. You make time for what's important, and maybe sacrifice time you spend on other stuff. I used to play video games and watch TV and movies a lot growing up, and play team sports, now I almost never do any of those things. While I do like them still, I decided I like reading, music, and bodybuilding better, so that's what I choose to focus on.
Anyway, hope you all find what you want to focus on.
>>
>>36828275
That's because you are insecure.
>>
>>36828275
I can't speak for them but no, no bragging here. It's just the best job I could get because my dumbass shrugged off school and now I must suffer the consequence. Live and learn though.
>>
I lift before work, or keep a thing of pw in my car for the days I go over 10 hours
>>
>>36828271
Force yourself to wake up early. It's all about turning it into a habit. I wasn't a morning person, but ever since I made the commitment to be in bed by 12:30 waking up at 7 isn't hard at all. I feel fine after the first 5-10 minutes of waking up.
>>
>>36824603
By not being a pussy.
>>
>>36828501
Nah, I'm Aussie, so all the interesting things on the internet happen past about 10.30 for me. I don't mind working out late at night, anyway. I suppose it's each to their own.

That, and I fucking love sleeping in.

eat your lunch at your desk really fast, then lift on your lunch break. run up and down stairs every 2 hours. stretch a bit before running or after. stay late or whatever to make up for being gone longer than 1 hour.

that's what I do *shrug*

>So how do you jobfags find the energy to workout after 8-9 hours of work?

Eat well balanced meals varying in size/calorie density depending on what my workday entails, get a good nights rest daily, integrate exercise into my daily routines whenever and wherever possible, don't consume or engage mainstream media; i.e. radio, tv, or movies, and above all else surround myself with good people who don't waste my time.
>>
>Get an education

>Work with your head all day
>Explode into glorious PR's from pent up energy at evening

>Make twice the gains

For real tho OP, I had an absolute shit job when getting my degree. The solution was to get up early before work and make sure to eat well through the day to avoid crashing at work.
