Is it a good idea to take your mom to go lifting with you? She is concious of her bingo wings and wants to get into better shape. I told her the way to go is barbell training and keeping track of caloric intake. Does anyone have experience taking their mom's to go lifting? Thanks.

If you have plenty of time then why not. But I find that even having a spotter/ an experienced lifter with you can slow you down and end up gobbling your gains.

Moms will almost always be there for you. Most guys have dads that are dicks or flake out. Most moms are pretty based.
