Quit cigarettes when I started getting /fit/. That post-run cigarette was pretty good. Now I vape. That first hit off my RDA after a workout in fucking SLAYER.
Still have a cigar and smoke my pipes every once and while. Never gonna give that up.

In my head I never really considered myself a smoker until I realised I'd spent the last 5 years smoking everyday.
Weekdays it was just 1-2 a day but weekends is where the damage was seriously done, literally would go through more than a pack over Saturday and Sunday when with mates.
I gave it up 3 months ago cold turkey and I genuinely feel more energetic and focused. Less of my day is fixated on "when can I next smoke to bring the most satisfying post-smoke feeling" and although I've never suffered from acne, I've noticed my skin has cleared up a little.
Try and quit guys, feels good but it's just not worth it.
The pre-bedtime cig outside while being introspective about life was the best, but I'm happy I've learned to live without it and feel more at peace for doing so.

the hardest part about quitting are the rare moments where you cant find a big enough reason not to (parties, stressfull events, place where everyone around you is smoking, etc.). Make a deal with yourself at this moment, that when one of these difficult events happen, you wont take even a single drag. Also remind yourself that the urge will completely dissapear after a short 5 minutes. gl quitting, u can do it
