With your hand fully pronated, your bicep contraction is weakened and there's much less capability to leverage the bicep on a pull.

With hands fully supinated, you bicep can achieve maximum contraction and is in a more effective position to pull.

Twist your hand in and out and feel how the bicep moves up as you supinate. It's the same reason you don't curl with an easy bar unless you're an idiot.

well first your arms are going to be fatigued on your chest/back day and it'll hinder your lifts. Second there's literally no better research supported split than a ppl (back/bis, chest/tris/shoulders, legs). Muscle groups that work together should be done on the same day. Your bis and tris don't work together at all, neither does your chest and back.

I do pullups and chinups as a warmup every time I work out. chin-ups are much easier than pull-ups to do and I do the same amount of reps for each. I still think its important to do both, idk why you guys are acting like you have to choose one over the other.

The problem with pullups is that people often do it with a wider grop and end up with an elbow-into-ribcage kinda of humerus path, which hits your uppper back a lot more. Chin ups recruit more biceps, yeah, but allow you to actually keep your elbows tucked and engage your lats a lot more. I'd say the ideal is a pullup with a norrow grip while making sure to keep your humerus tucked at all times.
