what shoes does /fit/ wear while working out?
I got pic related at a clearance sale for $65 instead of $130.
They're pretty comfy.
Or are 'fitness/training' shoes a meme?

I got some nike fitness shoes but would like some of those adidas lifting shoes. I do notice my heels lifting in squats. I correct it but it's just something that i dont want to worry about. I don't like lifting barefoot either
Minimalist is the way to go, but don't delude yourself into thinking you can throw on a pair of zero-drops, low-stack shoes without working yourself into them first. You'll kill your calves, which will cause overcompensation from other groups and lead to knee instability.

Nobody fucking cares what you are wearing. If you are squating or deadlifting however I wouldn't really recommend those wobbly soles. I'm wearing Tiger Aarons, they have a flat sole and are good for doings those 2 exercises. Maybe take chucks. But really, nobody fucking cares what you are wearing in the gym unless you are built and ripped as fuck or a girl. I think you are neither

>chucks
Damn i have a pair of high top chucks that i never thought about using at the gym for squats or deads. Im bringing those next time

I wear a pair of high top vans. Only shoes I own that are flat enough. Now they stink so they are exclusively my gym shoes.

not talking about aestethics, but function, like support etc

adipowers for squats, asics for running, chucks for deadlifts and everything else

that's why he said to just use chucks, you cuck. flat incompressible sole, no arch support = good lifting shoe.
