The bodybuilders of today are injecting insane amounts of compounds into their systems. Including very very high amounts of hgh and insulin. It's said they inject between 2-5 grams of compounds in their system every week.
arnold and the body builders of hos Era were injecting regular amounts of steroids and most of them only cycled pre contest. Plus they didn't use insuline and other compounds that are used today. 50mg dbol and 500-800 mg of test
They also lifted different back then for the most part. Focusing on upper body development was huge. Small tight wais and wide broad shoulders.

I love Ronnie, but Arnold was more dominating in his era. He pretty much stopped competing because he was bored with it and wanted to do other stuff.

No they weren't. You think franco, mentzer, and serge weren't maxing out their bodies with steroids to try and catch up to arnold? They abused what they had and what they didn't have was a lot. They didn't even have tren for most of arnolds career. But to assume that they were on 800mg test and 50mg of dbol is insane. Nobody looks like that on so little. Every elite competitor whether now or then will do whatever it takes to win and in those days it was shitload of steroids.
