My friend wants me to workout with him. I do like his gym better than the one I currently go to, and it does help to train with him.
But the problem is his gym is 30 minutes away from me, while mine is only 10 minutes away. How far away is your gym? Does /fit/ think the commute is worth it?

I commute about 2-3hrs a day for uni, the last thing I want is to add another hour in my car going to the gym.
30min is a pretty big drive though

It takes me 50 minutes. It's near the uni, so during the semester I don't really waste time.
But even if I don't have to go to uni I still lift 6 days a week, totally worth it.

i chose my gym because it's within walking distance
It's about a 10 - 15 minute walk from my house. It's very close, considered the next gym is like another 20 minute walk away. It's not too bad desu, I just put on my music and stretch out my legs before I hit the gym

I used to drive to my old gym and it only took 20 min max. Now in my new house and the gym is literally less than 5 minutes from me, two blocks.
