Is Gatorade a good drink to drink? Maybe Poweraid?
Just wanted to know where /fit/ stands on this.
I drink powerade sometimes cause it tastes good but it has a lot of sugar
It's water, simple carbs and electrolytes. There is no reason it would be anything but beneficial as an intra-workout drink to improve performance.

Only if you're completely burned after a workout. Drink water instead 99% of the time.
Gatorade hydrates you and provides simple carbs that your body quickly burns for energy.
Gatorade is "okay" to drink while working out. Personally, I simply blend a whole orange with water because gatorade isn't "whole food"
90% of /fit/ does not train hard enough to need sports drinks. Doing SS or couch to 5k is shit for training.

Tons of sugar in it. Just as bad as soda in that regard if you are just sitting around.
If you have just played a sport or worked out it is fine to drink though. Tastes fucking amazing after a good sweat too.
I rarely drink it. I LOVE the light purple flavor though.
water
High in sugar. If you want something sweet, Mio makes a sugar free "Fit" version with electrolytes and such.

More like 99% of /fit/. You only need Gatorade if
>training longer than 2 hours
>in a race/game (not training) longer than 1 hour
