Yes. Muscle building is based on how much tissue your body repairs when you are asleep. As long as you tear your muscle fibers as much as possible in the gym, then your muscles should still grow regardless if it's in a caloric deficit or not. Testosterone levels also play a part in building muscle.

Yes. But not a huge amount. But you can definitely stave off muscle loss while on a cut. That's a more realistic goal.

This. Hypertrophy/fat loss is definitely achievable but realistically not a lot of more experienced people are going to be able to do it. That's why you mainly hear about bulking and cutting phases. Minimizing your muscle loss on a cut is a much more realistic goal. Read this if you're interested senpai
