K fit, I have a problem.
My knees are weak as fuck, and everytime I squat (even bodyweight squats) it sounds like rice crispies being crushed to pieces.
I tried to strenghten them doing lunges, but it doesn't look like it is helping.
Any tips?

Record yourself squatting to verify proper form first and foremost. Without proper form nothing will help you.

I feel you bro, I had some intense knee pain for a few days after a squatting session a few weeks ago.
My form is on point but I have poor mobility. Just started back on my squats yesterday, and I'm making a greater effort in improving my flexibility and mobility so no snap city
My knees pop all the time.
I think for most of us the cause is that the in-between suspension fluid is getting less, and bone is grinding on bone.
Is there legitimate research on eating eggshells+membranes to "relubricate" knees?
All my life my knees crack when I go below parellel and when I started squating I was worried they might explode or some shit but I found the more weight I squat the less they crack, they still crack when I squat with no weight but I squat 225lbs with no cracks. Idk man just put that shit on your back and let Jesus take the wheel

Don't do it always but do it occasionally.
I have the same popping sound but it doesn't hurt unless I touch my thighs to my calves
