don't fast. do protein sparing modified fast instead. it's basically fasting, except you eat a lot of protein to minimize protein loss.

I am doing PSMF 3 days in a row, then eating at maintenance on the 4th. Rinse and repeat. Been losing fat incredibly fast, but be prepared for extreme fatigue. I eat ~700cal on the PSMF days, 600 of them come from protein. I notice strength loss when I am not eating, but after I eat on maintenance days my strength is 100% back. So no strength loss so far.
