Like the whole thing about calling certain lifts and routines "memes" as if this board is rating anime shows or music records and it's super important to tap into the edgiest most rare workout known to man. Fucking retarded.

Also shit tons of people going on and on about the particular physique they would like to have and arguing about why SS is a bad program for beginners because it isn't focused on aesthetics. Fucking retarded.

Most people on /ic/ have been drawing for less than a year as well.

Most people who have been working at something long enough to get good at it realize that 4chan is a waste of time. Everyone here is shit and trying to get better. Come here expecting the advice of someone on the same level as you. That can be valuable too as long as you hold it in perspective.

Unsurprising. When I first started lifting I thought I knew everything because I lurked /fit/ and read bb.com and tnation articles. Then I wised up and listened to guys who has been going to the gym for 10+ years and had results to back it up, and their advice has virtually nothing in common with the posters here on /fit/.

SS is s good program though, I will concede that.

/fit/ is temporary fun with little content change. You come here and start lifting or you start lifting and come here. You lol at fat people, ask few questions that don't need their own thread, tell /pol/ to plz go, post your progress and current body a few times, and you are pretty much done. Eventually it gets old, life happens and you get busy, and out of /fit/ you are. Not that many people are so bored in life that they keep coming here year after year after year, at least so frequently that they notice a single poll when it pops up.

I don't see how those results could be anything else.

Focusing on proper technique.
Not 'proper form' that is uniform to all people.
Proper technique to achieve what you want.

Half-squatting is OK. Even quarter-squatting is OK if that's what you need.

Benching with limiter ROM, like a fucking bro, is also OK.

Curl variants are important.

Doing more than 30 sets, not counting warm ups, is a normal thing.

Injuries happen not when your form is wrong. They happen when you cumulate too much stress. Lack of sleep, lack of water, lack of food, too much psychological stress - that's when injuries happen.

Lifting while injured is the best way of learning the best form for your leverages. The lack of pain guides your bar path better than any coach you can afford.

to be honest, it isn't that bad anymore. now i see a lot of people giving the fair advice to do SS or a a similar program first to build a strength base before going for aesthetics in the intermediate phase.
