I started cutting down from 375 about a year and a half ago. I'd lift, but I'd never keep to a schedule, I'd control my diet for a good month or two and then slack off. This new years I got serious with my diet, serious with my weight lifting routine - but around the beginning of March, before I saw this psychic, I was starting to slack again.
No more. I know that there's barely a chance I'll actually meet her, but I have a deadline now to become the best man I can be by July. If things don't work out, at least I'll be better than I am today.

Thanks for keeping it real, brah. It feels like a race to me. I don't know about you, but I've always needed a deadline to get shit done - and now I have it. I got down to 345 from 375 real fast, then dicked around at 330 for months. In the last 3 months I've hit 285. The same goes with weights - I never really kept to a solid program for more than a few weeks at a time, taking a week off here or there, skipping sessions weekly. I'm tired of fucking around, you know?
I'm gonna square up and break through the chains. The finish line is there in July. Will she be there, waiting for me? I'd be lying if I said I don't care. I know that I can't care. If she isn't there, all I can do is keep running.
