I dont understand, I only added 5lbs from last weeks PR and I was able to get 6 reps with good form that time.

I think its because I threw in 2x6 light diddies on my A day at 80% of my 5RM and I was still 'tired' from then, I ate and slept well.

If you look around online you can find plenty of stories of people justing themselves with the starret varus squat. People generally can't keep their knees that far out under load if their toes are pointed forward like that anyway. I would say avoid the starret squat

Yea, I will definitely start doing some hammer curls.

My biceps and arms are kind of ... weird all together.
If I pull heavy onto something with my biceps I get pain in the forearm and biceps, especially when I release my grip and shit like that.

Weird to describe it, but my biceps / arms are pretty easy to trigger some pain in.

Arm wrestling for example kills my arms for like 3 weeks, same kind of pain I get from shitty bench reps.

I just really need to put some heavy weight hammer curls in place and condition these fuckers a little.

Sometimes I think normies can kind of accumulate less strength, percentage wise.
Like, a lot of lifting heavy weights is CNS gains and to learn how to deal with maximal weights, might be that when I arm wrestle I do the same with my biceps, which kills it.

Also, we always do that shit seated, I recently realized that this fucks the arm even more and also takes away a lot of my advantage, making if harder.

When you do the curls, are you keeping your wrists straight? If you curl them inwards you'll get pain. That could either be bicep or wrist flexor tendinitis. If you keep a neutral wrist when doing bicep work and the pain goes away, I'd say that, more likely than not, it's wrist flexor tendinitis. I've had both, and I've had those exact symptoms you've described. If hammer curls don't aggravate the issue, then chances are that it's due to you not keeping your wrist straight in curls.

I never actually curl, that's the thing.

The random pain I described was with random movements throughout the day.

I think years ago when I lifted random shit I remember feeling this weird pain for the first time - I curls with an EZ bar and when I was done with the set and let go of my grip it would burn and ache like hell in my bis.

Same thing still nowadays, when I pull onto something immobile, say a handle plugged into a wall, I have to let go of it very slowly after having applied pressure.

Also, arms never really feel good either, the moment I really pull onto something with my biceps they start feeling uncomfortable and nasty.

All this shit I really never care about, assumed it's normal that trying to pull hard with the biceps hurts.
It's just that little shitty muscle that keeps giving me issues in the benchpress, I assume its brachioradialis.

If it's aggravated during bench, I'd recommend getting a video from the side. You could be letting your elbows get out in front of the bar, which could also mess with your wrist flexors. If you haven't done hammer curls, I'd definitely say give them a try. Start relatively light though. Also, ice and some sort of anti inflammatory help. Stay away from anything that aggravates it. Yea, I understand.

I'm actually fairly certain I know why it happens - it's when my elbows are infront of the bar, so my arm gets squeezed backwards by the weight.

But you see, when working with >90% weights this sometimes happens in a very slight manner, just a little bit off with the bar and my elbows aren't perfectly centered under the bar anymore.

And I really don't want this shit to start hurting again just because of such small missgrooving.

And yea, I guess I will be trying to kind of strengthening them with hammer curls, but I'm sceptical.

Perhaps this is not powerlifting related but hopefully you can help me. I'm doing Lyle's generic bulking like this ABxABxx. The problem is that some weeks I can go 4x times and other weeks I can't. Would be better to adapt to a AxBxAxx every week or intercalate between 4 times and 3 times whenever I can. Also would it be better to always go let's say Monday Wedsnday Friday instead of some weeks Tuesday Thursday Saturday (in a 3 times a week, in a 4 always having the day off in the middle but changing the actual days)
