I think afl is good for cutting, and I have been doing it for 75 days now, 18lbs down, but holy hell is it BORING. My lifts are more or less the same, but I can't make gains anymore, I made little strength gains in the beginning of this program. I went from 180lbs to 162lbs eating 1,600-1,700 calories. To think I need to lose another 15 good pounds bugs the shit out of me. If you have extra calories to play with and only have to put on lean mass, I would say don't even bother with his programs, the volume is too low. All I want to do is make gains again and put on size but this fucking gut of mine, man. I want to go back to deadlifts and high volume arm work. And all this cutting is make me feel wicked small, I was fatter but looks like I lifted at 180
