They are complex carbs. Top tier carbohydrates that take a long time to break down, which is why you will go a long time without getting hungry. I have personal experience from this.

It's the easy simple carbs that get broken down within half an hour that makes you more hungry. The stuff that's in loaf, non course bread and white rice.

Not OP, but I'm 6'2 283ish. I did a mile on the treadmill (would walk a bit and run for about 1/4 a mile) and did the elliptical for 10 min. It rounds out to about 30 minutes. I came back to my room and ate a salad with some sweet peppers. Is this a good way to lose weight? I don't drink a lot of pop, but pizza is my big vice since I'm a uni student.

Look... One way or another you'll start losing weight but after that happens dont ever say ''ooh i lost some time for a cheat snack''. That shit starts like that and the next thing you know you're eating McD's every other day and you won't even notice how it happened. Be stoic, stronk and tame your will.

I was right there where you are right now. It only gets better after this, just gotta change your escapades. For me it was coffee, cigarettes and social interaction. The moment i started going out more to meet friends i noticed i started to cheat less.

Yes but drop pop, go diet soda or very low cal juice (50cal per 8oz) and dont drink the whole jug god dammit. Eat veggie pizza or thin square (whatever meat pizza) but limit to atmost 2 slices with a healthy side dish. Half your plate must be vegetables (not fruit too much cal)

Is your 90minutes good solid work without much of a break between (there is a different between a rest and you breaking). How intense is the cardio. A walk isn't going to do as much work as a jog as much work as a run.

If you're a newbie. It's ok but you'll hit diminishing returns on lifting after a few weeks to a month.

If your intermediate, you could get close to overt raining and have detrimental effects to your gains or you're just not working as intense as you should be.

Your moderate to high reps should be 50-65% your 1 rep max.

The rare occasions I plan on eat pizza it would be thin crust and veggie or just cheese with a salad. Would peanut butter sandwiches be a good choice too?

How many calories does the peanut butter sandwich have? How many fats, carbs, protein. If your not hitting your macros and eating at a deficit then your going to have a bad time.

Well I put about a tablespoon and a half on there which is around 180 cal. The bread is wheat so it's around 110 every two slices.

Thanks! I buy baby spinach/kale spring mix. Throw crumbly mexican cheese (queso Ranchero or queso fresco), load it up with chicken, bell peppers, onion and mushroom. Handful of olives and peanuts, half a handful of grape tomatoes. Then 2 habaneros for spice. I prefer using homemade salsa to salad dressing as they tend to have alot of empty calories

if you have a smartphone download myfitnesspal and track your food. Don't buy premium just keep track of your macros goals on the side. You can set your calorie goal.

You will see the macros of your meal and know if your getting to many carbs for the day or to many fats etc.

The most important thing for weight loss is caloric (calorie) deficit.
