Do you think it would be possible to get 'big' just by doing bodyweight exercises like pull ups, dips and handstand push ups for upper body, and deadlifts/squats for lower body?
>>
>>36436124
Probably, but is it too much to ask to pick something up when squatting and dead lifting?
>>
>>36436124
Depends on your definition of big. You wont get like your pic from bodyweight exercises alone.
>>
>>36436140
I'm in a weird situation where I only have access to weights for a couple of days a week. I thought I could do and upper/lower split rather than trying to cram full body workouts into my two days of access to weights.

if you are unable to work out as often as you'd like, wouldn't you want to get the most possible out of whatever time you have available?

If you have 2 days, do two sessions of full body. More gainz/hour = more gainz in total.

Yeah, that's why I'd rather go hard on squats/deads one day, and then for the rest of the week do bodyweight stuff. I am trying to get the most possible out of the time I have available.

All I use the gym for is bench, deads, squats.. 3 days a week. Rest is hill sprints. Kettle bell work, calisthenics, and running. I can do 20 muscle ups at 225.. This is me a little heavier at 235.

Bruce Lee is the perfect example if Bodyweight Big.

Super defined, decent size, intense fucking definition, extremely low body fat.

You're not gonna go mutant going bodyweight only. You'll hit a certain plateu.

Freeweighters will get bigger.

Bodyweighters will get more cut.

Also invest in a kettle bell, weight vest.. Mix your calisthenics with sprints and plyometrics slowly decreasing your rest time.. Put on some good music and go.

Thats not natty, sorry. Traps, arms, shoulder is too obvious.

>>36436167

Yes you will. If you train bodyweight all day and eat like a tank you'll get fuckhuge. The thing is you can't train pushups as if you're benching 250lbs. It takes more sets and more time. It can be done.

If you were actually going to do calisthenics to get huge though you would do more complex shit than pushhps and pullups.
>>
>>36437748

holy shit, good job if that's true.
