I messed my neck up earlier too doing overhead press. Internet suggests it's my levator scapulae. Shrugs help me out.
>>
probably strained during sleep i suppose?
it will heal in a week
>>
How long have you had this pain?

How did the pain start? Did you lift anything, turn your head quickly, or was it just there one morning when you woke up?

I think I was doing incline db press when the pain started. It didn't hurt to the point where I had to stop though.

I went home a little early and put a warm blanket over it and massaged it with this anal lube I had left over.

Try massaging your trap with a tennis ball against the wall and see if it gets better.

That's just a minor muscle strain it'll heal itself.

Give it a week, you'll be fine
>>
probably a pinched nerve; just wait it out
>>

Were you overhead pressing? Just chill for a week on overhead press and fix your form next time/go lighter.

This.
Because Im a nigger, I use my neck muscles during OHP (dunno why, but seems the natural thing to do contract your neck).
Give it a week, dont be a nigger.
