>The interviews revealed that almost 20% of participants with testicular cancer had used muscle-building supplements. The higher odds of getting the disease remained after the researchers took other things into account.
Eh? How many people of the healthy group used creatine?
Of 356 men with testicular cancer, about 71 used creatine. Of the 513 men without testicular cancer, how many used creatine? Can't find the data anywhere.

less than 20%?

elsewhere I read that it increased cancer rates by 65%

wasn't creatine, it was "muscle-building-supplements" (not defined in the abstract)

What about L leucine?
>>
>>36298893
It is aids muscle tissue synthesis there are plenty of studies about it maybe most of them aimed at the elderly to keep them from wasting but nevertheless it is known to stimulate muscle synthesis works well with Carnosine and citrulline malate 2 to 1 ratio because that helps illuminate the ammonia produced from the leucine metabolism also requiring biotin for Lucina so be sure taking either a B complex or a tablespoon of peanut butter

Whey isn't considered a muscle building supplement I don't think. They're talking about creatine and some other steroid stuff that isn't labeled on the ingredients.

From the original article.

"MBS use is a potentially modifiable risk factor that may be associated with TGCC."

The study used a statistical analysis called odds ratio, with an odds ratio of 1.65 and a confidence interval of. 95

Basically the article concludes that given someone has testicular germ call cancer there may be an association with prior use of muscle building supplements. I wouldn't worry about it.
