>still have mild cellulite, stretchmarks, slightly loose skin and keratosis pilaris from weight gain
>try every cream going
>temporary results as skin is scarred from previous degeneracy
>self hatred is real
>find pic related (Dermaroller)
>can punish self AND self improve in an acceptable way
>start using it after online research
>look a bit sunburned after using it but really enjoyed it
>starts healing
>itches like fuck so moisturise
>skin is already tighter and scars are fading

Why don't you Dermaroll fit? It's way fun and tickles on your cheeks.

I've been using the .5mm one, what about you OP? Not sure it has helped me much
>>
>>36137911
I use 1.5, 0.5 is not deep enough for serious gains. Use a vitamin C serum with hyloronic acid as well after rolling
>>
I'm really debating investing thanks to old stretchmarks but I'm just not sold yet

Does size of the roller make a huge difference?
>>
>>36138026
You want a wide roller with 1.5 mil spikes for general use including stretchmarks. You should use it once a month and should see improvement after the first 3 months. This shit isn't a race but it really works. Keep your skin moisturised as it heals. Your stretchmarks will become flat, thin and white like old scars and easily covered with a decent spray tan.
>>
>>36137996
I'm already using the serum with the .5 so I guess I just need stronger needles

How often should I do it and when can I expect results?
>>
>>36138080
By the way I also don't have stretch marks just acne scars, hence I'm using it on my face. Is 1.5mm too strong for the face? And how long should I roll for?
>>
>>36138080
Your skin will tighten after the first two treatments and scars will begin to fade. You just have to be patient with it. Once a month and let it heal properly. You should be top shit by this time next year. Plus it's cheaper than a specialist and you get permanent improvement as collagen is increased.

i have acne on my back, does it work for that too?
>>
>>36138078
Thanks m8

I think I'll order one and at least give it a go. They're all old/white already but I can kind of notice them through the tan. If there's a chance it'll help hide 'em I'll take it
>>
>>36138173
Same mate but mine are deep. Fucken sucks.
>>36138171
You can't use it on active acne due to risk of secondary infection. Get on accurane and Dermaroll the scars.
>>36138170
Yup. Moistuise with coconut oil as well and lightly exfoliate.
>>
Also, drink plenty of water and eat a lot of veg. You can't have a decent skin regime with a shitty IIFYM diet.
>>
If you are suffering from mild acne or whiteheads or wrinkles you should use a retin-a cream. Works miracles, be aware that you will experience a purging period where you get more spots.
>>
Eat healthy non sat fats to improve skin health and avoid processed crap.
>>
>>36138326
>Yup. Moistuise with coconut oil as well and lightly exfoliate.

Nigga ive had that shit since 6th grade, if this really cures imma be so fucking happy

How long should the needles for be against Keratosis Pilaris you think?
>>
>>36138495
Dude you don't even know I pick so much and scratch and now I look for stuff to pick and I swear it's going. Gonna have to get a toy to fiddle with soon.
>>
>>36138512
My bumps started going after second treatment. So exciting.
>>
>>36138512
1.5 sorry, I thought you meant treatment time. 1.5 is really the perfect length for body and 0.5 for face.
>>
>>36138502
Short answer, yes. Girls like to grab back and if it's all pre-eruption back there then it might be off putting. You should get it treated any way, inflammation is bad for your health and if it is severe it could effect your ability to recover from illnesses.
>>
>have bad skin throughout teens
>go on accutane
>only side effect is dry skin
>gain a bit of weight, nothing huge
>covered in stretch marks due to dry skin

The backs of my legs, my arms, my stomach, under my arms. I just traded one skin problem for another.
>>
>>36138834
If they are still pink then derma rolla, coconut oil and retinol cream will help. Poor anon :( for anyone else going on accutane avoid this terrible fate by getting emulsifying cream that is normally used for eczema.
>>
>>36138907
Can you buy a derma roller from a pharmacy?
>>
>>36139104
Nah. Give me a sec I will link the kit I bought chicka
>>
>>36139104
The link is huge, go amazon.and search Dermaroller 3 in 1 and select top result
>>
>>36139251
cheers anon, i'll look into it
>>
>>36139278
Make sure you get a serum with it and use a disinfectant such as strong white alcohol or cosmetic disinfectant to clean the spikes. The suggested purchases on amazon should have you covered for now.
>>
Goddamn, I've been trying to get a dermaroller thread going on /fit/ for a year, but everyone seems skeeved by it every time I post. I have a 1.5mm too; I've only tried it a couple of times (on my face!), but once it's healed after a few days it looks really good.

I'm really glad to know it works on loose skin! That's what I got it for, and loose skin all over my body is the main reason I've kept myself from losing weight. Between these and facial exercises, godhood isn't that far away.
>>
>>36139415
If you're flying squirrel mode is won't work, but if you're sad belly button mode it should :) the main thing is to try and prevent and heal collagen tearing.
>>
I have a bunch of brown spots on my butt from butt acne (Asian). Will this work for me?
>>
Here's a question: I've lost a bit of weight, and I've got the "sad bellybutton" thing mentioned earlier in the thread. I'm planning on dermarolling the loosest, softest part, right around my navel. I've got my 1.5mm and my hydrolaunic acid serum, and I've got the act of dermarolling itself down. My question is, what do I do AFTER dermarolling? I'm going to be sitting most of the time after. Do I just keep it sucked in while I sit? Dress it with a giant wound bandage? I was thinking about wearing my corset afterward; would that help, or cut off circulation to the top layer of skin?
>>
>>36139415
same here
if this is real I might get one, as some people commented on me being fatter as I lost weight due to my belly bouncing around MORE (lose skin) during sports
>>
>>36139737
I don't see why not, just make sure you moisturise a lot and when you have healed use lactic acid 3 times a week on your cheeks.
>>
>>36137861
I got the chicken skin on my arms for my whole life OP. You've got me interested. What should i get and what should i moisturize with afterward? Link me some buyables nigga
>>
>>36139845
Just moisturise and make sure you drink plenty of water. Don't need to mess about :) also, practice ab vacuums as your core will be messed up from bloating etc after being overweight
>>
>>36139856
Wear compression gear when you work out or play sports. Diving around will cause skin stretching and make your situation worse.
>>
>>36139940
Gimme a minute my phone is dying and me needs to get me laptop
>>
Shills, please. This is the third time I've seen this sales pitch in the last week.
>>
>>36140098
im not trying to shill. Just going from experience. Shit works matey.

Not sure if it would prevent large amounts of skin flaps but it does encourage significant collagen production.

vit c and acid serum:

you can probably buy cheaper but i would recommend that dermaroller kit from experience.

Lush's Dream Cream is awesome for chicken bumps as well :)
>>
>>36140300
looks like two out of those three items including the roller itself can't be shipped to the US. i'm sure i can find something somewhere else, but thanks for showing me what i should be looking for.
>>
>>36140371
ah that's a shame, i did link you to amazon uk to be fair. But yeah, that's what you want, shop around. Aim for 1.5mm.

How to use:
>disinfect roller
>use on clean dry skin
>pull skin taught
>roll four times vertically
>lift off the skin with each roll so you're not following the same tracks but roll in the same place
>then roll four times horizontally
>you can roll next to your first roll until you achieve full coverage
>wipe skin with antiseptic
>apply serum
>apply coconut oil
>disinfect roller

Use suncream until it heals as damaged skin is more prone to burning and ensure that your skin is kept clean and moisturised. A bit like tattoo care :)
>>
>>36137996
>>36137996
>>36137996

right after rolling you can use the serum anon?
>>
>>36140548
yaass it helps it soak in, don't worry it won't make your skin too angry.
>>
>>36140473
sounds awesome bruh. thanks.
>>

no problem. I hope it helps you as much it as it as helped me.

>>
I've gotten some results with my acne scars.

Anybody use bb cream while we're on the subject?
>>
>>36137861

I've used mine like two times. But I roll more than four times. I usually do it till theres a good amount of blood. Heals fine though.

Is this okay?

you have to be careful that it doesn't lead to scarring, which would be going against the point. Just press firmly and go 4 times next time.

>mfw thinking of you hurting
>>
>>36140779

I feel like only 4 times isn't doing anything. I only feel content when I scrub that shit and feel the blood.

w-whats wrong with me anon?
>>
>>36140752
glad to hear it :)

Nah I just use mineral foundation. Pretty sure BB cream is a bit of a shill. Just have a decent cleanse, exfoliation, tone and moisturise routine.

TOP TIP: Use a clay mask to fix shiny shiny face.
>>
>>36140752
Only Korean BBs are worth it.
If you're a guy, go with something like mineral foundation with SPF.
Easier to handle and less shiny.

how many time a week did i have to use it fort get rid of the sad belly button? and i am 30 is that an issue (due to skin aging )?

once a month and it shouldn't be too much of an issue, you could be 60 and see some improvement.
>>
would this work on old keloids on my back?

0.5mm?
>>

I have not seen any credible/well documented studies with ample clear before/after results.

If this shit actually did anything you'd see people posting results all over the web.
>>
>>36141186
Don't dermaroll keloids, it can cause them to grow even more

Just broke out for no goddamned fucking reason. Makeup can't even cover this shit up. I've tried peppermint oil, stridex, hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, aloe vera, nothing works. It's like this whenever I get a zit--it turns into four like they're breeding in my sleep.

I do in summer but not in winter. In summer I get a sunburn within 20 minutes. Winter I can be outside all day and nothing happens.
