It's basically impossible without supplementation. I drink glass of water with 1/2 teaspoon of LiteSalt twice per day (it's half sodium, half potassium), add pure sea salt to my food, and take a magnesium supp at night to keep me electrolytes optimum.

Nah, shits hard to do. I do drink 1-2 cups of low sodium v8 (900-1800mg) and have a cup of OJ (400mg) so I should be getting at least 3g+ a day with a regular diet.

I have a bag of Potassium Citrate 270mg yields 99mg elemental K

I take around 1,500mg of the citrate a few times a day which isn't even giving me 1gram.. I get some from food like coconut water and avocado.. but I sppoked myseld reading about dying from too much K and so am reluctant to scoop out enough to say give me four doses of 1,000 mg elemental K in 24 hrs..

but I am gradually increasing to see how much I can take before I stop my heart beating..

You can also buy a salt substitute that has potassium in it. It's excellent in Powerade Zero, I always add a big pinch to mine. Dunno how it tastes on food.

Daily reminder that this standard was set this high to compensate for the incredible amount of salt people put in their food, potassium having a reverse effect of sodium. If you have a normal consumption of salt (aka 1/7 the average amount), then you need a much lower intake of potassium (1/7 of 4700mg).
Basic rule is your intake of sodium and potassium should be compensating themselves.

Shit like that just triggers me. I work in science and when I see a graph without labels or a table of numbers without units I feel the urge to kill the person responsible, even if it's obvious from the context. It's pretty simple to just fucking type in "Energy [kcal]" and "Kalium content / DRI" or something instead of those vague shitty captions. That's just the stuff you should learn in school and if they don't for whatever reason, I don't trust the source.
