Yes antibiotics can affect gut bacteria but the appendix exists to replenish the gut bacteria. Also, once your antibiotics are done, the shit you eat changes (literally and figuratively) your gut bacteria.
Lesson: Eat healthy food.
So when we put it all together, it comes down to eating well and exercising. All the other shit is a symptom of bad diet and no exercise, not an "additional factor to weight gain."
